Effort_force

In physics, effort force is the force used to move an object over a distance.

Effort force is a component in the following equation,

R × D_R = E × D_E

where

R is the resistance force

D_R is the resistance distance

E is the effort force

D_E is the effort distance.

Effort force is also a component in the following equation,

Work input = E × D_E

where

E is the effort force

D_E is the effort distance.

Effort force, like most other forces, is measured in newtons or pounds-force.
